Good to Know

We are happy to provide high chairs, booster seats, a cot or bed guard for our youngest guests. Please let us know shortly before your arrival so that we can have everything ready for you in good time.

All utilities, as well as bed linen, towels and tea towels, are included in the price. Your holiday apartment is also equipped with dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper and coffee filters, as well as soap and shower gel in the bathroom.

Fancy fresh bread rolls in the morning? Make use of our daily bread roll service - available even on Sundays and public holidays! Simply place your order by 6:30 pm the day before. From 7:00 am the next morning, your filled bread basket will be waiting outside your apartment door. Charges are based on what you order.

To make sure you feel at home from the very first moment, we prepare your apartment with the greatest care. As quality takes time, we kindly ask you to vacate the apartment by 9.30 am on the day of departure. If we finish cleaning earlier, you are of course very welcome to check in sooner.

A 40% deposit of the accommodation price is required when booking. You will find the details in your booking confirmation. Depending on the booking date, the deposit is either due immediately or no later than 2 months before your planned arrival.

Dogs are very welcome at Ferienwohnungen Egger. We charge a one-off dog fee of €30 per dog and stay. Please note that dogs should generally not be left alone in the apartment without prior arrangement. We also kindly point out that any damage caused will be charged.

A fixed final cleaning fee is charged per apartment and stay. Please refer to our price list for the exact amount.

Our cosy garden is open to all guests and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. While the children have fun on the playground or practise somersaults on the large trampoline, adults can find a lovely spot to unwind. (Available from May to October, depending on the weather.)

Free high-speed Wi-Fi in all holiday apartments.

The local tax of € 2.60 is charged per person per day. Children under the age of 15 are exempt.

Smoking is not permitted in our apartments. Thank you for your understanding!

Parking made easy... Free parking spaces are available in our garage, with a maximum entrance height of 2.30 m. If your vehicle is slightly higher, two outdoor parking spaces are available directly in front of the house. Please note that a maximum of two vehicles per apartment can be parked in the garage.

From the garage, there is also convenient direct access to the ski room and from there to your apartment.

We kindly ask you to settle your final bill on the day before departure. We accept cash, debit card, Visa and MasterCard. You are also welcome to transfer the amount to our bank account in advance.

The free ski bus or hiking bus in summer stops just 200 metres from our house. This makes it easy for you and your loved ones to reach the Hintertux Glacier, the Eggalm cable car or the many hiking routes in the surrounding area.

You can store your skis and winter sports equipment conveniently and securely in our ski room. The ski boot dryer ensures that your boots are pleasantly dry and warm again the next morning.

We are located at around 1,400 metres above sea level. In Austria, winter tyres are compulsory from 1 November to 15 April when winter road conditions apply. Depending on the weather and road conditions, snow chains may also be required at any time in the Tyrolean mountains. We therefore recommend always carrying snow chains with you and checking the current weather conditions.

A booking constitutes a binding contract. Cancellation fees may apply in the event of cancellation, late arrival or early departure. Unexpected situations can happen to anyone - illness, an accident or other unforeseen circumstances - so we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. In Austria, vehicles with a technically permissible maximum laden mass of up to 3.5 tonnes generally require a valid vignette to use motorways and expressways. The vignette must be correctly displayed or digitally valid before entering the motorway. Otherwise, a substitute toll may be charged. Vignettes are available from motoring organisations, petrol stations and directly from ASFINAG. You can find detailed information and purchase options here.

For your journey, please use the motorway and avoid so-called toll-avoidance routes. These often cause additional traffic in local communities and, due to traffic management measures designed to protect residents, may even result in longer waiting times.

Our tip: Disable "Avoid toll roads" or "Toll-free routes" in your sat nav and enjoy a relaxed journey to Tux.
