Yes, all of our holiday apartments are very well suited to families. The apartment with direct access to the garden and playground is particularly practical. This means the children can play outside while you enjoy the peace and views of the Hintertux Glacier.
Yes, the Garden & Glacier apartment and the Glacier View apartment both offer impressive views of the Hintertux Glacier. Depending on the apartment, you can also enjoy a balcony or terrace with garden access, plenty of sunshine and beautiful views of the surrounding Tux mountains.
A range of practical extras makes your stay even more comfortable. These include a ski room, garage, garden and children’s playground, so you are well equipped in both summer and winter. We also offer a daily bread roll service for an additional charge.
Yes, dogs are very welcome here. We charge a one-off dog fee per stay. Please let us know when booking if your dog will be travelling with you.
In summer, Tux offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking. More than 350 km of hiking trails, around 120 km of e-mountain bike routes and the summer cable cars make Apartments Egger an excellent base for active days in the Zillertal Alps.
In winter, skiing and snowboarding are among the main attractions in Tux, with the Hintertux Glacier and the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 close by. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing, winter hiking and tobogganing, as well as the snow-covered mountain scenery away from the pistes.
